APPLICATION PROCESS FOR ALL 2013-2014 IPD PROGRAMS AND EXCHANGES

1. Research

Follow the Steps to Study Abroad, including reviewing the Study Abroad Guide and learning about your school's policies for study abroad.

2. Choose Your Program

Research IPD study abroad programs and exchanges thoroughly on the IPD Study Abroad website, or stop by the IPD office to read evaluations from past students.

Students must decide which program(s) they want to apply to before starting the application process.

3. Apply Online

Before starting the Northwestern Study Abroad Application process, review the Application Checklist so that you are prepared and have all required materials.

Once you have reviewed the checklist and have your materials ready, APPLY NOW. Bookmark the link to the application: www.northwestern.edu/studyabroadapp.

4. Interview

Students must complete an interview with an IPD study abroad adviser as part of the IPD program application process. Call the IPD office at 847-467-6953 or send an email to ipd@northwestern.edu to schedule your interview. Non-Northwestern and off-campus students may arrange for interviews via phone.

Applications will be considered incomplete without the required IPD interview.

5. Submit Your Application

Follow the instructions in the online application very carefully. Make sure you complete all steps and review your application before submitting.
