RETURNEE INFORMATION FOR PROGRAMS IN PARIS, FRANCE
Below is information for students who have completed IPD programs in Paris in Fall 2011. Welcome back! Read essential returnee information below.
Program Evaluation
You ar required to complete two sets of evaluations: your course CTECs and a comprehensive program evaluation. Please click on the appropriate link below to complete the online evaluation for your program. The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. The information you provide in this evaluation will be treated confidentially, unless you indicate otherwise, and your honest assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the program will provide us with important feedback to improve the program for future students.
Critical Theory, Literature, and Media Program Evaluation (Fall 2011)
European Union Studies Program Evaluation (Fall 2011)
Public Health in Europe Program Evaluation (Fall 2011)
Transcripts & Credit
Grades for study abroad coursework have been posted on CAESAR and will appear on your Northwestern transcripts.
Language Placement Exam
Before continuing their studies in French at NU, students are required to take an online French placement test at http://placement-test.mmlc.northwestern.edu/. Students will receive a recommended course placement after taking the test. The placement test will assess current linguistic ability, measure the progress that students have made in their French studies while in Paris, and determine what courses they should enroll in next.
Opportunity: Become an IPD Program Ambassador!
A great way to build on your time abroad and share what you have learned with others is to get involved with the IPD Program Ambassadors. This is a new program that we are starting this year to provide opportunities to connect program alumni with each other, with future students, and with other members of the Northwestern community while gaining valuable skills and experience. We hope that you will be the first IPD Program Ambassador for your program!
Read this flyer for more information about the benefits and responsibilities of IPD Program Ambassadors. If you're interested, please email Karey Fuhs by January 9. If selected, you will begin your ambassador activities during the Winter Quarter.
